This is a family friendly, fun for all ages event to help us raise money to get our animals ready for winter.
Participation is free with admission to the zoo.
The Polar Splash will start at Noon. Participants will enter the splash pad in assigned groups and stand under the bucket dump for an icy blast! Test your limits even further by running through the rest of the splash pad features after the bucket dump.
Afterwards grab your free s’mores and gather around the campfire to warm up. Hot chocolate from TJ Snowcones will be available for purchase.
To be eligible to win an animal encounter the person must:
1) Participate in the polar splash
2) Create a video and tag Sharkarosa Zoo on Facebook
3) Privacy settings on the post must be set to public so it can be viewed by us
One person will be chosen at random during a Facebook live drawing.

It's small enough to where you do not have to worry about spending an entire day here. 1 to 2 hours is plenty. If you go with the right time you can watch the bear feeding which is super cute because they sit at a table and eat!!! There is also a petting zoo with lots of itty bitty baby goats and Shetland ponies. We have probably been about five times. There are also two playgrounds one that is covered and then an old school playground with an actual merry-go-round!!! During the summer there is an awesome splash pad. They have beautiful animals and the staff is incredibly friendly. J Marie2024-11-20Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A hidden treat that’s better than the Dallas zoo. Great for kids and very interactive. Will visit again Rocio Gomez2024-11-17Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
