We offer a unique opportunity to gain experience and work hands-on with our exotics here at Sharkarosa. It’s an incredible program and is a great addition to your resume for experience or course of study requirement. This is a 12 week Educational Internship offered at no cost to you. Must be 18 or older
Must be enrolled or previously enrolled in a degree program in an animal or education related field.*
Must be of good health and physical endurance.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must be willing to work in all weather conditions, including extreme temperatures.
Full time and part time available. Full time requires 5 days on 2 days off, part time is considered on a case-by-case basis.
Only full time positions qualify for onsite housing.
Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.
Must work well in a team environment.
Must be willing to listen and follow directions.
Must be responsible and willing to work hard.
Must love working with animals and people.
*If not enrolled in an animal-related course, you are still welcome to apply for the internship.

We are excited to see what happens when the sun disappears! Come find out how the animals will behave with us! Gates open at 12pm, the estimated time of total darkness is around 1:45pm, the park will close at 3pm. During peak eclipse hour we will be feeding our Lions Tigers Bears (oh my) and our Hyena! Predator feedings are at 1:30pm (lion tiger), 1:45pm (bear), and 2:00pm (hyena)
